FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
General
What is QLX?
QLX (Quiet List Exchange) is Australia's private, agent-only real estate exchange. It automatically matches eligible property listings with verified buyer requirements before, during and after a property's public marketing campaign. Unlike a property portal, listings are never searchable or publicly displayed, they're only introduced when a genuine match exists.
How is QLX different from a property portal?
Property portals allow consumers to browse advertised properties. QLX is private exchange infrastructure designed exclusively for licensed real estate professionals. Properties cannot be searched or browsed. Opportunities are surfaced only when a verified buyer requirement matches a listing.
Who can use QLX?
QLX is available exclusively to licensed real estate agencies, licensed buyer's agents, and participating CRM and software partners. The public cannot access the exchange.
Is QLX available Australia-wide?
Yes. QLX has been designed as national infrastructure and supports agencies and buyer's agents throughout Australia.
Is QLX replacing real estate portals?
No. QLX complements existing marketing channels by creating qualified introductions earlier in the sales process. Agents remain free to market properties however they choose.
Why can't I browse properties on QLX?
Because QLX isn't designed to be another listing portal. The exchange protects vendor privacy by only introducing properties when there's verified buyer demand. This preserves agent control while creating earlier, more relevant conversations between listing agents and buyer's agents.
Real Estate Agencies
How does QLX work for listing agents?
Once your CRM is connected, eligible listings are automatically assessed against verified buyer requirements. When a match exists, a QLX Match enquiry is delivered directly into your CRM against the listing, just like any other lead enquiry.
Does QLX require another platform or login?
No. QLX operates in the background through your existing CRM. Your team continues working exactly as they do today.
Which CRMs does QLX integrate with?
QLX integrates with leading real estate CRMs including AgentBox, REX, VaultRE, Eagle, Property Suite and Box+Dice, with additional integrations continuing to be released.
Does QLX create extra work for agents?
No. There are no listings to upload, no duplicate data entry and no additional software to learn. Matching occurs automatically.
When does matching begin?
Matching begins as soon as an eligible listing is created within your CRM, allowing buyer demand to be identified before public advertising begins.
Do listing agents remain in control?
Absolutely. Listing agents decide whether and how they engage with matched buyer's agents. QLX simply facilitates qualified introductions.
Buyer's Agencies
How do buyer's agents access QLX?
Buyer requirements are submitted through participating buyer's agent software, where they're continuously matched against eligible listings across the exchange.
Can buyer's agents browse listings?
No. QLX isn't a searchable marketplace. Listings are only presented when they match one of your verified buyer requirements.
Can opportunities appear before properties hit the major portals?
Yes. Where participating agencies create listings before launching a public campaign, matched opportunities may be presented during the off-market or pre-market phase.
How are buyer requirements verified?
Buyer requirements are submitted by licensed buyer's agents and must meet the platform's verification standards before participating in the exchange.
Is there a cost for buyer's agents?
Access depends on your brokerage or participating software provider. Contact us to discuss current participation options.
Matching
How are matches created?
QLX compares listings and buyer requirements across multiple criteria, including location, property type, price range, bedrooms, bathrooms, car accommodation and property attributes. Only relevant matches are returned.
How accurate are matches?
QLX has been specifically developed to minimise irrelevant enquiries by matching structured buyer requirements against structured property data, rather than relying on keyword searches.
Can properties be searched manually?
No. Properties never exist in a public or searchable database. The exchange only introduces opportunities where a verified match exists.
Can buyer briefs be searched?
No. Buyer requirements also remain private and are only surfaced when they relate to a matching listing.
Security & Compliance
Is QLX secure?
Yes. QLX operates exclusively between connected professional software platforms used by licensed industry participants.
What properties are eligible?
Only listings that meet the platform's eligibility requirements and have the appropriate agency documentation can participate in the exchange.
Does QLX replace the sales process?
No. QLX simply creates earlier introductions between supply and demand. The listing agent continues to manage the campaign, negotiations and client relationship.
